# Smart suggestions

The quick check Luw\.ai runs on a newly uploaded photo, and the suggestions it can show you.

Right after you upload a photo, Luw\.ai takes a quick look at it. If the photo seems better suited to another tool, or a setting would help, a banner starting with "Smart suggestion" appears. This page lists the suggestions and what their buttons do.

Suggestions are only offers. Nothing changes unless you click the button.

## The photo suits a different tool

| A photo of a room               | Exterior   | "Smart suggestion: Photo Interior"                     |
| A photo of a room or a building | Pattern AI | "Smart suggestion: Photo Interior" or "Photo Exterior" |

The banner has a **Switch to** button. It shows your current tool crossed out and the suggested tool next to it, for example "Switch to: ~~Interior AI~~ → Exterior AI". Click it to open the suggested tool with your photo, in a new persona there.

## Floor plans in Interior

If you upload a floor plan to Interior, you see **Smart suggestion: Floor plan** with an **Open in Studio** button. Luw\.ai Studio is the place for plans: it opens your drawing as a scene you can build on. See [Luw.ai Studio](/luw.ai-app-docs/connect/luw-ai-studio.md).

If you'd rather stay in Interior, you can. Interior renders a floor plan as a 3D view of the plan.

While the floor-plan suggestion is showing, the other suggestions stay hidden, since switching between Interior and Exterior wouldn't help with a drawing.

## Empty rooms in Interior

If Interior sees an empty room, you get **Smart suggestion: Fill Empty Room**. Its button turns on **Fill Empty Room**, so Interior furnishes the room instead of only restyling it. See [Interior AI](/luw.ai-app-docs/redesign-spaces/interior-ai.md).

## Dismiss a suggestion

Click the **×** on the banner to close it. Your photo and settings stay as they are.
