Most AI actions in Luw\.ai use credits from your account balance. This page explains how they're counted, lists what every tool costs, and explains the engines you choose under **Model**. ## How credits work * **You pay per design.** Each design a tool makes costs a set number of credits. Most image tools cost 1. * **The app says "tokens".** Prices on screen read like "1 token / generation". Tokens and credits are the same thing. * **Designs multiply the cost.** Each design you ask for with **Designs** is a separate generation, so 3 designs cost three times the price of one. * **4K costs 1 extra.** In the tools with an **HD** setting (Magic Prompt, Interior, Exterior and Render), choosing **4K** adds 1 credit per design. * **Your balance is always in view.** Once you're signed in, the icon of **My Account** in the sidebar becomes a small pill showing your balance. On a phone, the credits pill sits in the top bar. My Account shows it as **AVAILABLE TOKEN**. ## Where you see prices You can check what something costs before you spend anything: * **Tool cards** on the Dashboard end with a cost line, such as "1 token / generation". * **The credit line under the Generate button** shows the price of one design. You can also top up any time from **My Account** with **Buy More Pay-as-you-go Credits**, or see the plans at [app.luw.ai/pricing](https://app.luw.ai/pricing). See [Account and plans](/luw.ai-app-docs/account/account-and-plans.md). ## Refunds for failed or flagged designs * **A design fails.** The card shows a "Something went wrong" picture. Open it and choose **Delete Design & Refund**. The refund can take up to 24 hours. * **A finished design is flagged as unsafe.** Luw\.ai removes it and refunds the credits by itself. {% hint style="warning" %} If you close the result viewer while an **AI-Powered Magic Edit** or a **Download HD** upscale is still running, Luw\.ai asks you to confirm, because the credits for it would be lost. Wait for it to finish first. {% endhint %} ## Engines: Symphony, Aria and Nano Banana Most tools have a **Model** setting with two engines, **Symphony** and **Aria**. **Symphony** is the default. * **In image tools, both cost the same.** Pick whichever gives you the look you want. * **In Video and 3DGen, the price differs.** Video costs 10 credits with Aria and 20 with Symphony; 3DGen costs 3 with Aria and 8 with Symphony. The credit line under the Generate button updates when you switch. * **Magic Prompt AI adds a third option, Nano Banana.** It costs the same as the other two. * **Some settings depend on the engine.** In 3DGen, **Reflections** and **Texture Size** only appear with Symphony. In Pattern AI, **Texture Size** offers 512 or 1024 with Symphony and 512 or 768 with Aria. The result viewer shows which engine made each design as a tag, with a sparkle if **Prompt Enhancer** was on.
